This raises some practical questions around what support may be available…and how does it get paid for? What state, local, and NGO partners have the resources to fill these gaps? Or are there some areas where gaps may remain? #PrepSummit2025

But now, it’s all in limbo. And state/local health departments are going to be left holding the bag, all while wondering what is next.

The majority of this funding was going to continue response activities and address gaps identified during the COVID pandemic - everything from enhancing data systems to supporting stockpiles for PPE and other critical supplies, and especially staff to support those efforts.
