Was there a count of how many people attended the Black Lives Matter march of June 7, 2020? This one filled West Main from UVA to downtown and was definitely multiple thousands. Just thinking about how many people could even be practicably accommodated in or around downtown.

#nokings Charlottesville. Huge turnout, managed to stop by to hang out for a little while between one kid's cross country meet and another's soccer game. This is how antifascists roll!

Now that my son is at Roanoke College, I've been taking the opportunity when I travel down there to bring my bike and explore the nearby trails. Today was a beautiful day to ride. Fall in VA is amazing!

Passiflora is a cool looking flower, but to have something that can outcompete porcelain berry is wild

This rosebush is temperamental and constantly infested with worms (which I go through and pick off by hand) but I put up with it because these blooms are so worth it!

Here's the response to community feedback that admin presented.
WE'RE LISTENING. WHAT WE'VE HEARD: ✔️Define quifications of SROs and define the SRO's role at schools other than CHS & CMS ✔️before expanding the number of SROS consider expanding the number of CSAs ✔️Explicitly state there will be no sharing of immigration status or cooperation with immigration enforcement ✔️State that we'll pause agreement if federal government takes over CPD ✔️Articulate clearly the data metrics for Quarterly review in MOU or SOP with data aggregated by demographics ✔️Articulate the process for when/how the agreement with CPD would be terminated ✔️Further clarify police interactions with students including any use of a body-war camera ❌Alter MOU so SROs will not routinely carry guns ✔️Require SRO training in areas such as Multi-Tiered Systems of Support and working with students with special needs ❌Board should approve MOU ✔️Develop a plan for ongoing community Feedback ❌Initiate the MCU sooner than August 2020
