Credits have rolled on Donkey Kong Bananza. 432/777 bananas collected. I must admit the fact that I know I won’t be able to complete some of these post credits challenges kind of discourages me to try and get anymore knowing 100% is out of my grasp.

Gradius II (PC Engine CD). Beaten on easy with save states. I can honestly say that I could play that game for the rest of my life and wouldn't even get close to finishing it without save states. You feel quite powerful once you get the four drones with laser shots.

Gradius II (PC Engine CD). Beaten on easy with save states. I can honestly say that I could play that game for the rest of my life and wouldn't even get close to finishing it without save states. You feel quite powerful once you get the four drones with laser shots.

This got an 8/10 in Issue 1.
I still suck at SFII, so once again I play it through on easy. Boy is the lack of Turbo noticeable after playing the previous game.

As I finish second again on the first 150cc Knockout Cup, I lament how a character in second place is given a Golden Mushroom for the final straight to steal victory from me once again.

Just had a knockout race where I spent the majority in second. Both times I snuck into the lead a blue shell manifested within 2 seconds. Was there a single blue shell at any other time in the race? No there was not.

Even with low expectations this was a disappointment. Only the Red Hulk bit entertained me, the rest of the action was piss poor. I got bored of those shield trick shots very quickly.

Captain America: Brave New World ⭐⭐

Very enjoyable. This and Andor are genuinely the only Star Wars shows that I would class as good.
Kids were all great and not annoying, which is a feat in itself.

I don’t like giving up on shows but after 2 episodes of Series 2 of SAS Rogue Heroes, I’m going to have to raise the white flag. I struggle to think of a character I despise more than Paddy Mayne, and now he’s front and centre lead of the show, it’s made it unwatchable for me.

I don’t like giving up on shows but after 2 episodes of Series 2 of SAS Rogue Heroes, I’m going to have to raise the white flag. I struggle to think of a character I despise more than Paddy Mayne, and now he’s front and centre lead of the show, it’s made it unwatchable for me.

Paul Bettany's voice/accent grated on me a lot.
Didn't care for the characters.
Pre-house stuff was a waste of time.

Finished both Squid Game S2 and the Day of the Jackal today. Both ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Enjoyed both. Squid Game definitely got better as it went on. Surprises in both finales and I look forward to them both resuming.
