Adam, I've been a big fan of yours, but we're dealing with a pivotal moment in world politics right now, and I would have hoped you were asking those providing levelheaded analysis instead of sophomoric barbs. Now is the time to do all we can to ensure the guy at the helm doesnt steer twd the rocks

It's right there in the army's mission in title 10: Preserving the peace and security and providing for the defense of the United States, the Commonwealths and possessions, and any areas occupied by the United States, and marching in straight lines for no apparent purpose

Telling what? That they didn't take even more time and energy out of their training schedules to do something that in no way defends the Constitution against enemies foreign and domestic?

The signal is in the eye of the beholder, and I don't disagree that some will interpret the past few days as weakness. But I have felt more confident in my country this weekend than any since November, and America's enemies would interpret weakness at their own peril

It signalled vulnerability only if the onlooker doesn't notice that the protests are a sign that, despite Election 2024, the America of Jefferson, Lincoln, and Roosevelt is still alive and kicking.

By design, either the President or Congress is supposed to have the sense of decency to remove the offending person from office, however we the people have tacitly accepted an environment in which decency doesn't matter; only whose team you're on
