"Tax the rich" is a rally slogan, not an economic strategy. And it has not been winning national elections. On the other hand, the wealth gap is fact, not fiction. The top 10% hold 67% of household wealth, while the bottom 50% hold 2.5%. What if we could raise incomes (of the 90%) instead of taxes.

Ok, but he isn't totally wrong about some of the arcane, performative, or inefficient process in the Senate. Unfortunately, his approach seems to be to give up instead of trying to fix anything. And maybe we are more upset with him about the votes he does make, rather than the ones he misses.

I don't know the answer to how the country should manage the complex issue of immigration.
But what I do know with absolute certainty is that what the trump administration is doing is morally, politically, and operationally wrong.
It's not the America we want the world to know. We can be better.
