Huge game at Old Trafford tonight. The atmosphere has to be spot on. The Red Army have got something special planned for the Stretford End before the game.

The new United We Stand is out tonight around Old Trafford. Hundreds of hours have gone into this and the 150gsm woodfree gloss paper smells as wonderful as ever.
Cash or card. A cup win. Start the weekend with a smile.

Keith Dewhurst told us about an epic game at Highbury in Feb '58. After Munich, Keith became MU correspondent for Evening Chronicle, then an award winning playwright.
A superb writer (inc for UWS - he sent his 100th column on Tues) and fine man, he died on Sat aged 94. RIP.

Back to Manchester from the Lake District. First time I’ve seen the sun in a week. You can see why it’s becoming a popular winter sun destination for discerning travellers.

Stopped by the local football club in Ambleside in England’s Lake District. This is Reg. He manages the team and he’s also building a garage for the tractor. Football’s lifeblood.

When a team get a 90th minute equaliser and a 97th minute winner with the last kick of the game. England’s 8th tier.
Went to see Trafford’s players celebrate in their state of the art portacabin.

Sorry to hear about Kath on reception passing away. Lovely, modest, loyal, lady. 55 years at MUFC.
I tweeted a pic of her in May ‘22 and showed her the huge reaction. She was well chuffed and showed her family. Then said: “thank you all so much. I’m only doing my job.” RIP.
