Today we went out to see if we could find any flower fields. We saw one but it wasn't accessible. Photos taken between #Sublimity and #Silverton, #Oregon. Lots of brown, but it's still beautiful!

Yesterday, we took River Road from Salem (near Hopmere) up to Newberg. Another hazy day in the valley but we did get to at least see Mt. Hood, the reddest barn I think I've ever seen in my life, and cowboys heading into the St. Paul rodeo! 🤠

Our house feels so much emptier now.
After 17 years, we had to say goodbye to our cat, Shadow, yesterday. As sad as I am, at least I have so many memories of him, from the time I first brought him home from California to his last time laying in the sun yesterday.

It's a great day for solar! My little Jackery solar generators are getting charged. I wish I had solar on the roof! Someday!

We were in #Silverton #Oregon this afternoon and saw a beautiful home with an amazing field of California Poppies out front. I snapped a photo and when I got home decided to have fun: 1) Convert to paint-by-numbers 2) Color 3) Oilify –Perfect? No! But I had fun doing it and am enjoying the results!

I did not want to cook #dinner last night! I did it anyway! I threw together a quick stir fry of broccoli, shrimp, and noodles. Spring rolls and crab Rangoon from the freezer to complete the meal. Stir fry tossed with numerous seasonings from the pantry! 😂 It was tasty!
