Final day of my #PactCoffeeAdventCalendar
La Manzana, Honduras
Yumbo! Very tasty (and sustainably grown, too). I disagree with the tasting notes, though: I'm not getting any orange at all. I'm getting an appley afternote though, perhaps unsurprisingly given the name!

Because here's Day 24 of my #PactCoffeeAdventCalendar.
Kibirizi, Rwanda
Very nice. Syrupy, slightly sweet, light, but not really acidic at all. Very much my jam.

Buenos Aires Cenicafe 1, Colombia
Another solid Colombian medium roast. Definite chocolate notes, tasty, but nothing spectacular.

Muthewathi, Kenya
Not a fan of this one. Too acidic. Had to add a lot of milk to make it drinkable. Not getting any of the blackcurrant or sweet berry notes.

San Carlos, El Salvador
Very interesting flavour, bright and sharp, apparently down to the anaerobic fermentation. Lovely for a single cup, but not something I think I'd drink a lot of.

Samuel's Coffee, Colombia
First few sips weren't dazzling, but the fruity notes are quite subtle and they build. Not bad.

Sitio de Jaja, Brazil
Very rich, dark and chocolatey. A bit too dark for me to drink black, but with milk added some alchemy occurs and it tastes both like dark chocolate and cream. Yum.

Fugi, Rwanda
Ready or not, here it comes, you can't hide...
Oh yes. This is up there with my favourites. Light, refreshing, but also a little creamy and definite blackcurrant notes at the top. Veeeery nice.

El Roblon, Honduras
Light, with citrus notes, but a little too acidic for me.

Finca Monterrey, El Salvador
Nice enough coffee, though once again not getting any of the notes. Interestingly it tastes nicer / smoother accompanying my cereal (which is a surprisingly bitter gluten-free granola).

La Cuadra, Colombia
Nice flavour, though I'm not getting any of the notes. Just a nice, medium dark roast coffee. That'll do, pig.

Fazenda Reis, Brazil
Smooth, creamy, chocolatey and very, very drinkable.
This was a sneaky one, at first taste it was just OK, but it's got a lovely aftertaste that builds with each sip.

Thunguri, Kenya.
Light, hints of blackcurrant and citrus, but also smooth and syrupy. Very nice!

Akagera, Rwanda
Mmm, nice. 😁 Really enjoy the slightly bittersweet blackcurrant notes. Clearly coffees with red fruit notes are my jam.

Rabanales White Honey, Guatemala
I was worried, as the notes said "lime" acidity, and the last one of those was minging. But this is nice. There's a subtle sweetness to it, and quite a complex aftertaste.
(Yes, I'm late today; this morning was too rushed).

Montecillos, Honduras.
A very smooth, creamy coffee this morning. I'm having it with milk, but it genuinely tastes like I've added cream. Very nice, decadent.

Cafeina Prazeres, Brazil
Very smooth and creamy coffee today. Perhaps not as complex as some of the others, but very tasty, very drinkable.

La Laguna, Colombia.
Very nice. Definitely getting the dark chocolate and mandarin notes (which paired nicely with this morning's porridge + marmalade).
During lockdown I systematically tried different regions of coffee: Colombia always delivered.

Agua Caliente (which means hot water, right?), El Salvador
After yesterday's horror show, this is nice, and I'm getting the notes of chocolate and shortbread (and I wish I had some chocolate shortbread to have with it).
Debut of my @rookeryp.bsky.social mug!

El Aguacate Natural, Honduras.
I am not a fan of this one. First real misfire for me. The card describes the acidity as lime, I'd say closer to vinegar. It's super acidic. Not undrinkable, but not for me.
