This is such a non-starter. It is no different than before! The real question is why did they even bother when they know how Ukraine and Europe will react? Is the purpose to let Europe and other nations continue to take over support while the US formerly bows out?

I often think about that moment and compare it to Trump mocking the handicapped journalist. Man, that should have been a clue to everyfknbody!

It makes me so sad to realize we have devolved to this point. It is painful to watch the collapse. I just hope something good rises from the ashes. It often does. Perhaps this is the cycle we must live through.

This "deal" is just capitulation to Russia. Why would Zelensky do that? Just carry on destroying Russia's energy infrastructure and weapons depots, inflicting 900 casualties a day, and eventually Russia will have to get the fk out.

I'm not even on ACA. I'm on a employer group plan. I just went through enrollment and realized my rates are going up 20%! Now I have to ask for a billable rate increase to help cover the cost. I'm no Republican, but many of my fellow employees are, and I can't imagine they are happy with Trump now.

MAGA seems to really suck at lawfare. I think beauty before brains is just not working for them. Also, their anti-establishment jihadism seems to really interfere with their ability to paint between the lines when it comes to legal professionalism.

How is this not a complete waste of time for Zelensky? Why does the US not factor in NATO's substantial European support? Russia can't afford to wage it's stupid war indefinitely without collapsing its economy and risking growing popular opposition. Ukraine knows all of this.

They say they are returning public education to the states but red states have been hollowing out their public education budgets for decades. What they want to do is destroy public education. What will poor rural red state families do?
