1A law on online anonymity is also clear. Free speech includes the ability to communicate anonymously, and this applies to the Internet, like any other form of communication.

The 1A law is very clear: there are “less restrictive means” of protecting kids online. Like safety tools Google and Apple currently offer parents. Filtering software is both less restrictive than age verification and often more effective, as the Court found in Ashcroft.
