It's worth noting that after Sussan Ley criticised Albanese's Joy Division tshirt – citing the antisemitic origins of the band's name – Albanese apologised, admitted his clothing choice should be taken as an unendorsed proposal and that he was fine with a compromise of a late-period Interpol tshirt.

Is a 'Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me' poster signed by 53 cast and crew members for $11,000 as quarter as interesting as a first edition Hobbit for $44,000?

Thank you @sonicboomrecords.bsky.social. It's mindblowing to see @numerogroup.bsky.social's reissue of Tacoma Radar's album crack a chart so long after it was first released to universal indifference and followed by 20 years of silence that reinforced that initial impression.

"Chalmers caught criticising News Corp in hot mic moment" - Guardian Australia

I don't think pointing out News Corp ignore facts and deliberately misrepresent stories qualifies as criticism. Not sure what Media Watch would do if that wasn't true.

Looks like you can, Ed. According to the presser Barnes, Davies, Cebrano and Moss are “still at the top of their game.”

Jimmy Scott would have turned 100 today.

His voice was like nothing else and he lived one of the most unbelievable lives of anyone I've ever met. One of 12 people at Billie Holiday's funeral. The first artist signed to Ray Charles' label, ignored for decades then, suddenly, in Twin Peaks.

Surprised not to have seen people mention THAT scene from Sinners that is moving in its own right but is also a subtle homage to Julie Dash's Daughters of the Dust. Deeply impressive stuff.
