Water based city scale thermal storage systems can help. In the case of Southeast Asia, chilled water for cooling, stored above or underground.
Every power outage is becoming increasingly costly for ASEAN economies.

By 2040, Southeast Asia can lose up to $2.3 billion without timely grid upgrades

Modernising #ASEAN's power system with smart grids turns risk into advantage.

I thought this was fairly well established, but: here's another new study showing that wind and solar complement each other and make for a more stable grid when combined.

The Russian peace plan promotes nuclear war.
We have a US administration trying to bully Ukrainians into accepting Russia’s proposal that their sovereignty be undone. Aside from the naked injustice of this, there are five basic practical reasons why it would make the world far more dangerous.

Except when green electricity needs to meet winter heat demands, as biomass is limited, and when making green fuels is inefficient. Then we need to store a lot of hot water for a few weeks.
The obvious end point is an electricity grid that has enough storage on it, in enough places, that the timing of energy generation basically becomes irrelevant.
