Most of what matters to me is in the here and now and the future will be history. And I've learnt things change.
Managed to blag a box for "Ideal" in Worthing last weekend. Johnny Vegas + a superb cast + a batshit crazy plot = panto for potheads. It was brilliant! Highlights included ad-libs, unlimited legroom, discovering Terry's exploding minis and rattling our jewelry at the riff-raff in the cheap seats.

Superb performance by Self Esteem in Brighton last night. Anyone combining superb choreography, very strong songs and a "Fuck Off Farage" jacket is a superstar in my book. Arrived too late to see Moonchild Sanelly's wiggle but in time to be blown away by Nadine Shah for the 2nd time this year.

I don't know about you but I'm beginning to think Janey Godley may have been onto something?

My son's about to start an extension on his home and I just sent him a photo from 1990 when I was extending my place. John "football genius" Crumplin was a cult hero with the fans. He wasn't on good wages so for a couple of months after training he came and worked for me. Nice guy, good bricklayer!

Over the moon that Ebay's algorithm decided I should know about this print of Celtic Swing which is now on its way to me! It will trigger happy memories every time I look at it which means it's possibly the best £10 I've ever spent.

Nothing has ever gone slower than the virtual speed awareness course I'm on right now.

Natty & The Rebelship in Brighton last week at Concorde 2. A really special performance by a unique artist on a memorable night

Natty's "Man Like I" album has been on regular rotation in this house for many years and his latest release The Divine Trinity is another gem. He's the real deal.

Struggled to get going from the start in this evening's $22 mystery bounty hunter tournament. Stayed alive till the bounties kicked in and somehow scraped past the bubble into the money. Knocked out the short stack with 78 v JJ to win the big bounty. Got knocked out in the next hand. Efficient.

Can't believe it's already been four years since I was woken up by a neighbour who'd stopped taking his meds.

This is the exact face my son had when we got him the wrong bike for his 8th birthday.

I'm old enough to remember when Kier Starmer negotiated a trade deal with an authoritarian state and the King invited their tin pot despot leader to come to the UK for a state visit.

I saw this so I just checked his posts and replies out and he's definitely a hate-filled nasty piece of work. He's not very smart either ...
