Boom! Finished my 1st squadron of my traitorous 9th Vordekh Jaegers (‘The Dire Wolves’), turncoat Imperil Army Auxilia. This is a hella quick scheme too. I can’t wait to see Baneblades in these colours

One project ends (for now) and another begins: Cultist Firebrand means my Word Bearers Chaos Cult sub-army is complete. Meanwhile, got the basic scheme figured for my traitor Imperial Army for Legions (some details still to paint, this was a quick and dirty colour test).

That’s the last 10 cultists painted for my Word Bearers, which brings me closer to getting my event army ready - just 10 Beastmen and a Firebrand left to paint!

Finished this page-turner this weekend and I can heartily recommend. Was it a bit pleased with itself in places? Sure. Was it a bit predictable here and there? A bit. Was it enormously fun regardless, and also very empathetic, cinematic and deserving of a sequel? 100%. Fun, funny, horrid & charming.
