In a major fail by the Tories on Shropshire Council, planning inspectors told the council to scrap its new local plan. The Tories did not listen to what they were being told and did not give planners enough resources. The inspectors lost confidence in the council.

At the end of the 18th Century “entanglement” was sometimes used to describe a commitment or a complex relationship. The word should now be repurposed to describe the point when a fun relationship begins to get serious and a bit complicated.

Severn Trent can't discharge more sewage and nitrates in the protected Clun river. It wants a pipeline to dump sewage in the Onny because it doesn't have legal protection. So the Onny and Ludlow gets it! Please sign the petition against this abusive madness.

I fear for the survival of the 435 Ludlow Shrewsbury bus service after Monday's accident at Bayston Hill. Bus runs are having to be cancelled and services heavily delayed by the A49 lane closure. This could undermine the route's viability which is not subsidised.

As has been well publicised, a truck crashed into the Three Fishes pub at 5.30am on Monday morning. This severely damaged the pub and partly demolished the house next to the Hong Kong City takeaway…

Ludlow has been having a clean up over the last couple of weeks. 40 plus volunteers used the town centre last week. The clean up of the Eco Park is nearly complete. Just some panels to repair on the Eco Park and paint up as mini-murals
