One of the best books I’ve read in ages, some of the tales of the races i watched as an inspired kid, and a really sensitive and gently inspiring story of someone truly finding themselves. Well done @pippayork.bsky.social this is the book I’ve waited years to read, it doesn’t disappoint in any way!

Things I have learnt today riding my bike:
Yes the Road Closed sign is real
The 7km off road gravel path over the hill to avoid the road block is not easy on a lowest gear of 39/27
Or on 28mm tyres at 5.5 bar
Or with full mudguards
I should try cyclocross
I prefer roads
Galloway is the best place!

Cap for indoor training tonight, #RIPGianiSavio a great inspiration to so many young riders over the past so many years!!! Surely will be sorely missed in the Italian cycling world, and finish line suit sprinting world, and podcast appearances!
