Carney is the leader many of us wish Starmer was. Starmer reminds me of a competent but uninspiring middle manager, simply managing day to day issues as they arise. Carney is a leader, clearly articulating the purpose, strategy and vision. Britain has a manager when what it needs most is a leader.

Exactly this. I mean if it didn’t already exist and the best idea for running the economy was, ‘I know what, let’s put a tiny number of very greedy people in charge of everything and pay everyone else a pittance’, I’m not sure it would sound any less crazy.
