Let's not get too depressive, helpless or ahead of reality. Things are changing quickly in Iran and within the US worldview. Most likely outcome is the regime suppresses successfully. But there are many other scenarios. And the US century is clearly finite. Who knows what next?

All of what you write up to "are seen as ...." can be true, and indeed I concur with it all. But the implication, intentional or not, is that in fact they are the bad guys so we should conclude that the Iranian regime are in fact the goodies? Surely both are bad, after all they both hate women.

At the end of the recently posted footage seemingly released by the ICE operative presumably for exculpatory motives there is his voice - get out the fucking car, followed by two shots. Then a pause, same voice then saying fucking bitch, followed by a third shit.

Rubbish. Read In The Valley Of the Beasts by Erik Larson the experiences of America's Ambassador to Nazi Germany - the mild mannered academic William E Dodd and his journey from sympathy with the anti semitism which was widely prevalent in contemporary America to horror of everyday violence there

Let's hope! We are very much on the same page across a wide range of issues. The Russian infiltration, Cambridge Analytica, dark money, corrupt lobbying, GBNews - with the large majority Starmer could have struck hard and fast and cleaned the stables. But no. Why not? Chicken or equally compromised

Ah I see thanks. Looking at it again it's quite obvious, apologies. Certainly the majority have been to date, although there are a few honourable exceptions. More should Greenland go the same way, no doubt. I wonder/hope if Reform's alignment with MAGA will prove negative for them
