The cost of making games now makes exclusivity have a negative impact on the companies revenue. It works for Nintendo because there core demographic is young children, not adults.

The lost revenue from PC sales of exclusives would be enough to prevent that. No ones buying a console simply for the exclusives unless it’s a Nintendo because of Mario, Zelda, and pokemon
