That's your problem. You're using your brain.

I'm writing down my values that I am willing to comprise—a temporary (and pragmatic) de-prioritization.

The values I don't compromise on, that's my foundation and integrity. The values I am willing to set aside, those are the edge—a liminal place, common ground, and a source of traction.

The real thing is out there—in warm light, half-wrapped in shadow, in the liminal glow between day and night, wherein the world speaks in symbol and metaphor.

It is for you to discover. And, if you are fortunate, share what you find.

ie get off your phone. Grab a camera. Touch grass.

Ah yes, Trump is trashing the country and economy in order to take advantage of the chaos, and be absolute king of a trashpile.

Or he’s incompetent.

I’m open to hearing about other alternatives. But your comment is bot-like behavior

Russia would be more accurate.

Centralized political and economic power around a single person and his loyalists.

An alternative is that they want to

1. Cause chaos in the market in order to take consolidate wealth.

2. Actually break off trade from the rest of the world in order to consolidate power. (See Peter Zeihan)

A noble tradition dating back to Ancient Rome! And then some!
