Progress continues…

The background pieces made it through the glaze firing but ended up being a little too big for the frame. All the edge pieces were trimmed for a nice fit. No matter what I’m happy with it all.
All the pieces missing are in the kiln being fired for the second time.

The kitchen project is making progress. If only I hadn't absentmindedly leaned on that one piece on the bottom I'd be farther along but oh well, right? Fingers crossed I will be able to successfully recreate a new tile from this broken one. I hope to be finished glazing by weeks ends. 🤔🤞🙏

I was delighted to be asked to make this small vase with a lid for cremated ashes. Here’s the original and the new work in progress.

Starting the year off fresh. A new beginnings here on bluesky and on the largest ceramic wall piece I've ever made. This is one of three pieces for a kitchen commission. I'm keeping all fingers crossed. 🤞🤞🤞
