I'm really tired that everywhere I look at it's negativity about the character I play, on social media or every guilty gear related discord I'm in. Can't even try to share counterplay because I'm labbed as a downplayer or that I'm proposing unreasonable stuff even if it's stuff I do it all the time.

Pot is stronger but he is infinitely more frustrating to play. He was always a "get meter>rob round" kind of character but had other tools that let you play outside that strategy. Now he is extremely one dimensional and most of my matches are: lose 10 interactions in a row > get meter > win

I have no idea how to judge Pot's MU this patch. I'm experiencing MUs where there is a lot of losing into doing 1 good read and winning the round. The only MUs that are truly awful are the ones where there isn't even room for making that 1 hard read like GL and Johnny

I've been dooming really hard on pot lately but i managed to have fun today. I still think the character has new flaws in neutral and defense that I can't ignore but maybe watching other Pot's like FAB might give me some answers.

This version of pot is like bottom 5 and if I have to fight another Anji without pre patch BMF and 5K my opinion will go even lower

Played some more pot, I'm warming up to the offense and neutral but defense is so bleak without BMF

I tried to play Pot today and ended up with a headache. This is even worse than I thought. 2K and 2P are somehow even worse buttons than last patch, Garuda gives no mix if you are slightly spaced and the new HF and Slidehead changes feels like I'm playing underwater with how much recovery they have

I don't like Pot changes ngl. There is a solid chance he ends up stronger with the rework but man removing karas sounds so bad. The sauce is gone and all the practice and grind of the combo routing was for nothing.
