Looked out my porch and there were 3 young deer in my yard feeding on my mulberry tree. Haven't had deer in the yard, or even the neighborhood, for probably 30 yrs, back when I was a kid.

Bro decorated some cookies to take to cousin's annual St Pat's dinner. He's giving them some of the Spring artwork he made at the Day Center as well (he comes home w/so much artwork, this is one way to share it - & move some of it out of our house, rather than tossing it)

WTF they're cutting funding to Lutheran Family Services? Going after many nonprofit organizations that provide needed mental health, caregiving & food at time when their tariff & other policies are going to impact the most vulnerable, but I've yet to see DOGE go after $ to Defense Dept contracts

According to Vic's Wikipedia Lawyer brigade, this post, suggesting NTSB looking into some1 threatening to run ppl over w/semi & hiding bodies, was enough for their friend fired from her trucking job yesterday, to sue me for "wrongful termination" & "tortious involvement"

Someone at work said they were picking up a couple of Thanksgiving pizzas to try while they were available. When describing it, I had to say the thought of gravy as a substitute for pizza sauce was a deal breaker for me... but finding out it's only drizzled on top has me intrigued enough to buy

With the rain & wind this week most of the leaves in my yard have fallen, so hopefully will get the last of the yard work done.
The big maple trees in my neighbors' yards have only dropped about 50% of their leaves, so I expect when I finish w/my yard they'll decide to all drop & blowing mine 🫤

At least 1 small positive outcome from Tuesday, is that, to help calm my mind, I've been pretty productive getting ready for 2 upcoming craft shows & roughly sketched out a book series that's been developing in my head for 2 yrs, writing the 1st couple of chapters of book 1

Picked up most of the pieces of my brother's Halloween costume yesterday.
W/his new glasses, it reminded me of Clark Kent, so he's wearing a Superman logo t-shirt, under a long sleeve white dress shirt halfway unbuttoned w/loose tie, like he's changing transforming I to Superman

Back on natural dye testing...not quite dry yet, but cherries definitely give a really red vs the red raspberries, which gave a more lavender mauve coloring.
Also for 2nd time, I had a vine ball unravel due to liquid absorption. If continues again, might need to find different supplier.

Back on natural dye testing...not quite dry yet, but cherries definitely give a really red vs the red raspberries, which gave a more lavender mauve coloring.

So someone in the house has had a bit of an upset tummy the last wk, & I'm little overwhelmed making sure I have boiled chicken on hand for Lucky, so I'm trying a freezer dried instant chicken & rice dog food to have on hand as back up.
