I think it's wise for your emotional well being to "stop listening to random, un-qualified people offering poorly structured opinions". So if that's "the haters", then you are not one of those. Listen to competent people that you trust.

I'm not an expert on the creative process. Everything I've read and been told is - it's not unusual to be frustrated/dislike your own work. The only way forward is to keep experimenting, keep trying. Change directions. Take a class. Read a book. Keep going until at least _you_ like it.

Listening to critique is rational. I think the important filter is listening to people whose opinion you respect; who are informed; who are motivated to help you succeed.

Not everyone's opinion holds the same weight, and not everyone's critique is useful or worth your time.
