Full #moon transits in front of #Earth. Seen from the #DSCOVR Deep Space Climate Observatory 9 years back. It's a #spaceweather satellite that hovers in Earth's L1 #lagrangepoint right between the Earth and Sun. I love the beauty of an inverse #eclipse.

The blaze star (t Corona Borealis) is the brightest repeating nova. It's a white dwarf orbiting a red giant accreting hydrogen until it's hot enough for fusion. It explodes every 80 yrs. It's just finished it's pre-nova dimming phase. When it goes it will be magnitude 2 in a matter of hours.

Occater crater on dwarf planet (formerly asteroid) Ceres. That's dried salt from an underground ocean that erupted during the asteroid impact that made the crater. It's an asteroid belt object with an ocean. How cool is that?
