They might be voicing disappointment, but they aren't calling their reps or engaging in any way to stop this. Where are they at town halls, or marches, or visiting their reps. They aren't, their behavior hasn't changed, just the words.

Why would any country want to negotiate with the US ever again, we have dumb electorate that is willing to inflict pain on their neighbors. We can't be trusted to vote with compassion or any practicality. And this week a lot of people will lose their right to vote with the SAVE Act.
