Middle class workers don't put everything on the table creating insanely long shot companies to benefit of all mankind. They don't spend years teetering on bankruptcy to advance them. They don't create 100s of thousands of jobs, or wealth for millions of others. Or work 8 years without pay.

Tesla's benefit was simply a tidier ledger, & it was real money into fed & state coffers. Singling Elon out is howling at the wind, & compared to other billionaires frankly unfair to him.

Ye, I'm with you on that. Though people should realize SpaceX has, over the years saved the country significantly more than doge (supposed) savings to date.

This is not the best mark to attack Scott. There are only a few companies with the required capabilities, & SpaceX delivers at a fraction of their cost. Without them the US would still be reliant on Russia to service the ISS, at much higher costs.

You want to address trade imbalances? Relinquish the reserve currency, give up the power & privileges it grants.
