Yes, the assets will all be held by a limited company which will be transferred into the childrens’ names well before farmer dies so no IHT due. Only people who will pay are rich folk who bought agri land to get round original IHT laws (that were only brought in in 90s).

I think it’s because she’s just plain wrong, she’s economically illiterate and people are bored of having these things shoved down their throats. It doesn’t help that her article links behind a paywall either so it can’t be openly challenged.
