HHH should transition to Treasurer of WWE since he's insistent on a lesser product on the screen as long as they can maximize social media views, ad revenue, and, ultimately, dollars.

It's confusing and embarrassing how a company built on storytelling continues to make these incompetent decisions that fail to prove that HHH has his finger on the pulse as a booker and writer.

They decide to try to do their best Avengers Endgame ripoff culminating in a massively dumb Bloodline Rules-esque match with anyone who has been involved with Rhodes' story since his return to WWE grabbing a role in the match and diluting it even further.

There's a part of me that fears the match at Mania next year will be the Undisputed WWE Champion Dwayne "the Rock" Johnson, after Cena relinquishes the belt to him and leaves the WWE, sticking true to his final WrestleMania promise, vs. Cody Rhodes, now 3x Royal Rumble winner.

It would've had the same effect and not included Travis Scott in the ring smoking a blunt (Happy 420, btw) and "sageing" the ring and Cody's beaten body or whatever the fuck. Idk.

Cena had already won the Elimination Chamber. It's just extra steps that only complicate the vision of whatever story they have tried to tell with Cena. He could've attacked Cody when he came out to congratulate Cena on his victory.

Now that I'm at the asking questions stage of whatever this is, why not just a simple run-in from the crowd? Where the fuck was that bald fraud, the Rock? Did he really insert himself into this story to not show up for the payoff? Why did Cena align himself with the Rock in the first place?

The crowd being Cena's 12th man this whole time could've been a fascinating story to tell in the match. How Cody performs with the whirlwind of fanfare and reaction of a split crowd. Nah, fuck you, weird ham-fisted Travis Scott interference and shitty finish with no juice to it at all instead.

Without the crowd's support behind him, he can't finish off his opponents by himself, and he only realizes it now he's faced up against a new version of himself. A version of himself that has had overwhelming support since his return to the very company Cena has quarterbacked for half of his life.

It felt like Cena was getting served his own medicine as Super-Cody kicked out of everything Cena had to offer. John Cena was in the same hell that so many other superstars and legends had been in against Cena. We could've seen Cena's more pathetic and desperate side spill out.

The strange inclusion of Travis Scott's abbreviated entrance during the match, as he awkwardly stood on the stage rubbing his custom championship belt before slowly making his way to the ring, killed any of the momentum the match had built as Cena and Cody were kicking things into a higher gear.

Travis Scott's inclusion in this story has added a splinter right into the fingernail of John Cena's heel turn and retirement angle. I was enjoying the match for what it was... and then it came to a screeching halt when FIEN began to ring out in Allegiant Stadium.

I can respect celebs that don't distract from the core product and help the business gain new fans. The whole point of the celebs being at the events is that the event is incredible, and even the celebs enjoy the spectacle just like you and I do, but it feels like the opposite effect is occurring.
