One of Trump's worst actions is to mute or stop the NASA climate work. If the science is from outside the USA they'll reject it as political, and if they don't have their own science there's nothing that even needs to be denied.

Developers could help towards rooftop solar by selecting roof tiles with a matching colour, as here at Parc Eirin, Tonyrefail. Nearly every house has solar, many up to 7 kW.

One thing we could do locally, maybe with help from HCC @bencrystall.bsky.social, is to stop the overzealous closing of bus stops for the tiniest of roadworks. For example this, where the occasional bus is really a van, the same size as the van used by the worker who parked in the stop to close it.

Maybe XR should get some tractors next time. Then the BBC will give them live coverage and everyone will think they're public heroes. Yes, this tax is badly designed, but crops lost to drought and floods is really 'the end of farming'.
