Can she step out from the Camplight? I reviewed Dilettante's live show last month for Under the Radar.

Just adding my mum's maiden name 'Leavis' to mine, as I'm close to both halves of the family, and to help distinguish from another Andrew Tucker who's a fashion writer...

Plus, F. R. Leavis confirmed to my grandad that he believed they were distantly related, so that's arguably a cool connection!

Stanley Middleton’s daughter Penny giving her father’s Booker Prize to Nottingham Library today 🏆

50th anniversary of his win - the only year it was given to two authors.

(I was meanwhile spooning the cream off a lotus biscoff hot chocolate from the library cafe. Can a drink be disrespectful?)

A quick hello - I'm on lit desk at Leftlion, freelance for the Nottingham Post while white-knuckling my degree.

I'm now on a ‘virtual’ writing residency in Melbourne alongside fab writers whose CVs make mine look about as exhaustive as Herod’s Christmas list.

Here I am in front of my fence.

Bless the tech gods for their mercy this morning - ran my first ever online writing workshop, 'Imagined Libraries' - part of my residency with Melbourne UNESCO City of Lit.

Melbourners, you put me to shame with your ideas for fantastical libraries. Just appallingly imaginative.
