Even though I haven’t been 100%, I still feel like I got a lot done. There was a time when I would make maybe one painting a year. It’s good that I have been able to keep a regular studio practice going.

I feel really accomplished making these new paintings. They’re helping me explore some new themes and revisit ones I have previously shelved. They’re also practice for some upcoming projects I have plans for.

We’ve been having some pretty intense weather. One minute it’s warm and sunny, the next it’s storming and hailing. I have been having some pretty wild migraines lately. Anyone else? Since I haven’t been going to the studio, I’ve been trying to stay productive and paint.

One of my goals over the next few years is to get into making miniature enamel paintings. I thought this was good practice. They’re still “big” for small-scale work, but it’s good to keep the hands busy.

I was waiting for materials to come in for my enameling and took a break to make some paintings.

I’ve been working on some new enamel pieces intended for earrings! I turned some of my drawings into stencils and used them to create the patterns. (These are really just test samples to see how the colors look together.)

Working on some more faces for fun little polymer clay ornaments. Will they be leprechauns or witches? Nobody knows… not even me! lol!

Yesterday I was tidying up my work area and came across some unfinished polymer clay La Befana ornaments. I asked if I should keep or crush. Most folks said keep. So I finished her up. What do you think? #polymerclay #labefana #christmaswitch
