He's shot very well in 3 out of 4 games? What's your definition of 'very well'?

ESPN did a ranking of each NBA team's 'Big 3'. I don't care if Kevin Durant hasn't signed an extension yet. Listing Reed Sheppard over him as one of the #Rockets' top three players is just dumb.

The #Rockets played at a 47-win pace without FVV last season and they've since added Kevin Durant. They should still win 55+ games without FVV.

Even were KD to be injured all season they should still be a ~52-win team this season due to trading away the 'dead weight' holding them back.

Reed Sheppard bringing back the Bob Cousy running hook shot for the #Rockets this season.

The extra inning ghost runner is good.
The pitch clock is good.

There is no problem with a guy who cheated for the Astros once he puts on your former employer’s uniform.

The hypocrisy is as staggering as it is common.

The Biden administration and public health officials actually did a good job during COVID.

Put together USA vs World teams. Who would win a 7-games series?

Top point guards since 1980:

Tier 1: Magic, Curry, Nash, Stockton, Thomas

Tier 2: CP3, Harden*, Luka*, Russ, Kidd, Iverson, Payton

Tier 3: K Johnson, Mark Price, Dame, Parker(Tony, not Smush)

Individuals within tiers are not in any order.

*If they are considered PGs.

Win and win big." - #Rockets' internal expectations for next year.

Is that another way of saying 'Championship or Bust'?

4-year deal incoming, it appears.

Here are the names. Jabaris the most volatile but that's unfair because of January where he only played one game.

Here is the same chart, but with the players identified. Volatility is the norm, across the board.

Here is a chart of monthly True Shooting percentage by seven players in the #Rockets rotation last year. Which ones do you think are the most volatile?

While the #Rockets discussion centers around trading for Kevin Durant, let's list out all of the players age 33 or older who played significant roles in the playoffs for the Final Four NBA teams:

Mike Conley

That's it. That's the list.

Let's project out further and see what the #Rockets cap picture looks like in 2026-27 with KD's new $112M/2y extension.
Assume Jabari gets $90M/4 and Tari $80M/4, they let Landale/Holiday walk, and fill the roster with minimum guys. They are well over the 1st apron.
June 13, 2025 at 7:45 PM
Here is the #Rockets' financial picture for next season if they trade Jalen Green, Dillon Brooks, and the #10 pick in return for Kevin Durant.
Assume FVV signs a $90M/3y deal and Adams gets $45M/3y.
If they fill 4 slots with minimum guys they can just barely stay below the apron.

It is remarkable how laughably conservative every forecast for the growth of solar energy has been - forever.
For we Texans this has been the greatest undercover economic story of the last 5 years. Solar energy has kept the ERCOT grid alive during our brutal summers while also keeping prices low.

Don't know how credible this is, but Giannis may indeed be thinking like that. Running from the Western smoke, lol.

I'm not a 'ship Sengun out' guy, either. He has had better efficiency than this season but when you compare him to other centers, he has never been above average in his career. I posted this data last season on the bad site. Their search engine is so bad that I can't find the tweet.
May 8, 2025 at 3:53 PM
The Rockets played five lineups more than 100 minutes this season, and JG was in all of them. The only one with a negative rating was the starting lineup with Amen rather than Jabari.
What does that tell us?

As the #Rockets move into offseason mode, let's just review the #NBA history of 'All-in' trades for superstar players.

Of the 10 teams to make these trades since 2010, only 2 resulted in titles. Seven of them never even got to the conference finals within five years.
