Trump is giving me such a headache.

I think I need a Tylenol.

In 1986, DC Comics redesigned Lex Luthor as a billionaire businessman.

Their confirmed model? Donald Trump.

America elected its own supervillain. Twice.

The real question isn't how Trump won. It's what toxin in our body politic made him possible. Maybe even inevitable.

The Constitution's fatal blind spot: it never mentions corporations.

This enabled systemic racism, surveillance capitalism, and the real-life Lex Luthor in the White House.

But we're done letting traitors define what America means.

Let's fight "America's Kryptonite."

Let's Make America Super.

I think this might be the best thing I’ve ever written.

About America’s Kryptonite: the poison in our constitutional DNA.

With the hope that there's still time to Make America Super.

I’d so be grateful if you’d read, discuss, and share!

1/8 Trump just told Americans who have bodies that sometimes get sick (and prefer not to die) to #GoFundYourself!

So we did.

We’ve launched a $723B GoFundMe to replace what he’s stealing from Medicaid.

Every $10 cancels $1K in medical debt.

This is so heartbreaking and makes nothing better and no one safer. It is the punitive act of an administration that values fealty over human health.
A top scientist at Harvard who has spent years unraveling the mysteries of tuberculosis woke up Tuesday morning and discovered an order from the federal government telling her to halt her research.

Major universities w/ massive endowments fought hard to displace impoverished people, ruining communities. But when fascists threatened funding—money these universities could easily replace—they folded immediately.

Respect to faculty & students standing strong. To admin who folded…I have no words.

Unlike 2016, Trump's team has executive orders & a grasp of power’s levers. It’s daunting. But Trump excels at performing power, not maintaining it.

Suzie Wiles & Project 2025 put lipstick on a pig—an intimidating shade, sure—but it’ll fade. Beneath it? A weird, chaotic little man who is beatable.

EXACTLY.

Also, for too long, the loudest voices of Christianity in the US have been those against the message of Jesus Christ.

I may not technically be classified as Christian but I love the teachings of Jesus and it’s really refreshing to see a prominent Christian in the US embodying them.
This matters. Not because I think Trump is capable of mercy or empathy towards these vulnerable groups. But because it is a public act of defiance.

Contrast that with all these other powerful people in this country signaling nothing but appeasement and obedience.
Rev. Mariann Edgar Budde to Trump: "I ask you to have mercy upon the people in our country who are scared now. There are gay, lesbian, and transgender people in Democratic, Republican, and independent families, some who fear for their lives ... and the vast majority of immigrants are not criminals"

The surreal nature of Trump’s 2nd inauguration falling on MLK Day reminds us: without MLK, Trump may never have met Roy Cohn. And yet, just as the Dream can birth a Nightmare—we’re called to turn it back toward the Dream.

In this manifesto, I envision how we can flip the script.

Big idea: Let’s rebrand the Resistance as the Rebel Alliance.
