Collimation is easily performed by eye using a couple of 3D printed parts. I’m getting eye pieces tomorrow and weather permitting will do initial focusing

To be a little more ‘extra’, because why be a basic amateur astronomer bitch I’ll be disassembling the upper tube assembly to paint the internal parts with Musou Black!

Surprisingly easy! Right now minus the eyepieces I’m all in <$100! It’s all off the shelf hardware, this is the imperial version that’s all 10-24 hardware and it’s hex nuts and machine screws.

I got bougie with carbon fiber rods, printing the upper and lower tube assemblies with CF Core ABS.
