If writers are stuck on how to continue the James Bond franchise, clearly the only way to proceed is by placing vegetable Bond, bat Bond, electric Bond, brain Bond, phantom Bond, and spider Bond all in the same movie.

I have no clever metaphor or snappy spin on the latest disappointment, just this:

If your representative votes to price you out of healthcare—or support any bill that hurts people, really—it is time to call and scold them so badly they cannot sleep, then vote them the fuck out.

This is further erosion of good and fair journalism silenced by rich conservatives.
I was laid off from Teen Vogue today along with multiple other staffers, and today is my last day.

certainly more to come from me when the dust has settled more, but to my knowledge, after today, there will be no politics staffers at Teen Vogue.

I saw a 35mm film showing of GDT’s Frankenstein, and found it visually stunning, with great performances from all, and very moving. Was not prepared for the weight of the inner turmoil each character carries, and the final moments.

A few years ago I heard Lin-Manuel Miranda was working on a musical of The Warriors. Just discovered the concept album on streaming and absolutely loving it. Maybe we’ll get a stage or screen version. Maybe we’ll get inspired.

Can you count, suckas? Can you dig it?

My steps for visual art: sketch 20+ thumbnail concepts, sketch big w tablet, draw shapes, paint similar shapes, shadows & light, texture, then detail.

Recently realized halfway how many hours to go in a new complex piece.

I didn’t open a slop app to mash together stolen images and styles. Gross.

After, a second viewing of Carved, one year later, I am surprised by how dramatic, character strong, and beautifully filmed a movie with such a ridiculous premise can be.

There is nothing violent happening in this town, except gov funded thugs in riot gear and masks kidnapping people, or shooting tear gas at someone dancing in a frog costume, or gov officials visiting and lying about the state of reality while fantasizing about committing greater violence.
Incredible.

Jack Posobiec references the earliest version of antifa -- the anti-fascists in the Weimar Republic who were opposed to the Nazi Party -- as the bad guys.
