Many of those Target customers are not returning, I’m certainly not. Time will tell if they turn into Sears/Kmart but they sell a wide variety of necessities. Disney has always been an entertainment luxury and tarnishing a luxury brand feels like a much bigger gamble.

$4 billion was market loss no? We won’t see the revenue hit until they publish the numbers but it may have far exceeded what they anticipated. The brand damage though will be long lasting (see Target).

I’m going to have to try it, still feels limited compared to an A7CR on paper at least.

I feel like it doesn’t deliver on the promises. Small but not pocketable and worse battery life. Great image quality but a bad EVF and fixed screen. 4k30 video but no ibis. Decade old lens and no updated focus motors. At $5100 seems like a lifestyle luxury camera to compete with Leica. Am I wrong?

I use Luminar alongside Lightroom/Photoshop and it’s a great tool. Capable of extremely fast edits which is always appreciated.

Haven’t done any low & mixed light work like that yet with it. I’d be interested to hear your thoughts on the iso performance in that setting. Also super jealous, haven’t seen a show at MSG before!

I hope you love the A7RV as much as I do. Can’t wait to hear what you think about the 50 f1.2. I’ve written it off since the 1.4 came out but maybe I should look at it again.

I was in a band for years when I lived in Denver and I loved playing out. Something about the interaction between the band and the crowd. You know how you can feel the energy from the crowd and the band feeds off of it? Your photos capture that vibe for me.

I should really get into concert photography at some point. I know it’s difficult to break into but I love live music so much every photo is take would be a love letter.

I had been looking at the 14mm but the 16 seems like the sweet spot. Plus the price makes it even more appealing.

Yes the new tech is exciting but people need to get some perspective. Look at the market for an A7iii or a body like the A7Sii. These bodies go out of date fast and should be treated as the depreciating assets they really are. Glass on the other hand…

I’ll be shifting those pixels on my A7RV very soon for some landscapes in Moab. Constantly amazed at all the cool stuff this camera can do.
