Also I'd definitely recommend that you play Hollow Knight before going for Silksong. They definitely play into each other lorewise, and from a mechanical standpoint, HK provides a lot of foundation that Silksong builds off of.

It's definitely one of the greats in the genre, though it can be difficult at times. It's a game that asks you to get good at it, and not expect immediate (or even quick) success. That said, the writing is excellent, the art is *chef's kiss*, and the controls are smooth as heck.
