Friday mood: brain’s at 3%, to-do list is still judging me.
I’ve got no caffeine, no plan, and just enough motivation to shut my laptop “strategically.”

I woke up ready to change the world.
Then I checked my inbox and decided maybe just… do some light admin and hydrate.

Every time the sun hits my desk I forget how to work.
Deadlines? Nah.
Emails? Who?
All I want is to sit outside with something cold in my hand and pretend I’m not ghosting my to-do list.
Work is hard. Sunshine is persuasive.

Me: I should really build that welcome flow in Klaviyo.
Also me:
– Spends 20 mins on subject line
– Hates every draft
– Forgets abandoned cart says [FILL IN PRODUCT NAME]
– Shuts laptop. Considers going off-grid.

They said automation was self-care. They lied.

Monday checklist:
open laptop ✅
stare into the void ✅
scroll a little too long ✅
okay, now I’m ready

It’s Friday and, naturally, I’ve saved the biggest tasks of the week for the final sprint.

No caffeine. No sense of time. Just sheer determination and questionable choices.

Let’s see how much I can cross off before the weekend calls.

This week? Overbooked, overwhelmed, and yep… I did it to myself.
Next week’s calendar? Somehow just as packed 🙃

I know better.
But I keep forgetting I’m allowed to build in breathing room, not just tell others to.

Reminder for both of us:
You don’t have to burn out to earn rest.

My calendar says I’m in 3 meetings right now.
One in Zoom.
One in real life.
And one in denial.

Anyone else out here living the ‘I can do it all’ lie?”

How’s your Tuesday going?
🔲 I’m thriving
🔲 I’m surviving
🔲 I’m hiding from my inbox

Bank holidays as a handmade business owner:

No post going out today

Still packing orders

Still answering DMs

Still wondering how it’s already 4pm

It’s fine. Everything’s fine. Send snacks.

Me today: It's Sunday, so I'm not working
Also me: checking emails, tweaking my homepage, and rewriting my About page for the 12th time

Entrepreneur weekend math:
1 day off + 1 scroll through Shopify analytics =
A full-blown launch plan drafted at 10pm on a Saturday.
We simply do not know how to chill.

Friday before a long weekend hits different when you run a product biz:
✅ Pack orders
✅ Reply to DMs panicking about one day of no mail
✅ Call two biscuits and a sausage roll “lunch”
✨Living the dream.✨

Only 5% of your followers see your posts.
That means you could post 5x a day and STILL not reach most of your audience.
That’s why paid ads work especially when you use the ones that already got engagement.

If Etsy is your whole business…

It’s not a business.

It’s a listing page.

Turn Etsy into a traffic source and stop running your business on rented land.
