The Schools Bill is decent legislation. Things equity back to the system rather than just governing half of schools. Right behind it as well.

This is disappointing from Amanda Spielman and very politically driven given that it was in both the Telegraph and the Times yesterday evening. Also slightly tone deaf as to what is actually happening in schools.

Great, as always, to listen to @alastaircampbell2.bsky.social talking about education and schools. The need for great strategy and communication.

Was a pleasure to listen to Bridget Phillipson set out her vision for improving schools and helping more children to secure better outcomes.

Schools’ Forum this eve. Still such an important agent for change in the school system. Brings together all sectors. Proud of the fact that over the past six years we have significantly reduced our deficit on the HNB. Moved to a more inclusive mainstream offer. Navigated falling rolls delicately.
