I am heartbroken to hear the news that ROBERT E MCGINNIS has past away March 10th at the age of 99. One of the greatest American Illustrators ever is gone and not a single piece on the news anywhere about the man, his influence and his life.

Happy Evercade Alpha release week! I finally got my pair set up. Having these in my basement an arm’s reach away from where I work is a dream come true. The fact that I get to boot them up and see the UI that I designed is still something that I’m trying to wrap my head around.

It’s unbelievable that these companies are actively pushing for this. How does anyone working in product or design on these platforms muster the motivation to get out of bed in the morning?

Had dinner at Alinea in the Gallery this weekend in Chicago. Such a beautifully designed multisensory experience. Particularly love how they collaborate with Ignite Glass Studio to produce unique glassware for individual courses.

I'm late to post about this but we released a big update to Evercade last month which included a Library feature that allows you to browse our entire catalogue. This is an idea that I proposed almost 4 years ago in some of my first Evercade UI concept designs. Pumped that we finally got it done.

You would think that “Ability to visually identify on what side the stuff comes out” would be an absolutely base level requirement in the design of any kind of dispenser. But at least my nightstand is well moisturized.

LGR put out his review for Duke Nukem 1+2 Remaster and he likes it! I’ve been on the Evercade team for a few years now but this is the first time I've gotten the chance to work on a game. Really happy people are digging it!

It's hard to find anything related to Canadian graphic design so I splurged and bought this 1975 Canadian design special issue of IDEA, a Japanese design mag that’s been in publication since 1973. It’s awesome.
