After a couple of decades in evangelical Christianity, I'm watching the cult take over our nations political system 15 years after leaving the religion. I'm resigned to being vocal about it. There's a strong correlation between religion, any number of destructive myths, and science denialism.

I have always idolized Feynman, 14 year old me was definitely a "smartest guy in the room" type.
Angela provided me with a new perspective. And I really appreciate how seriously she treats the topics she covers.
I'll probably rewatch all her vids about 10 more times, lol. It's an OCD thing. 🙂

Unfortunately, religious political culture has NOT declined. Since I left the church 15 years ago, I've witnessed a rise in the most toxic religious political beliefs becoming mainstream. The oligarchy saw the writing on the wall and adapted their explotative propaganda to infiltrate secularism.

Do you assess cartels with the same sort of grace? How about serial killers? They're just so isolated and driven to satisfy an urge to kill because society fails to provide them with an outlet for their, um, psychopathy?

Yes, I am aware. The stats in the chart are for "children and teens." If you omit the demographic of teenagers aged 17 and up, Firearms are not even close to the number one killer. It would be disease, drowning, and car accidents. Guns kill teen gang-bangers in urban communities, mostly black males.
