Barber pole low-precipitation supercell at sunset near Rush Center, Kansas on April 21, 2022. Convective inhibition started to build back in and the mesocyclone got so narrow I swear it wasn’t even 100 meters across, and then *poof* it was gone #kswx

My favorite chase of 2024 was this wild tornado near Eldorado, OK on May 23 which exhibited mesmerizing multi-vortex action. Mobile radars estimated wind speeds of ~180 mph, but damage only supported an EF2 rating.
