Today I found out that Matchbox let go of their lead designer, Abe Lugo. He’s one of the greatest designers in their history and this is clearly related to the 37% tariff trump just slapped on Thailand, where Matchbox models are made. Pictured is my favorite model he designed (he owns the real car).
