That’s why we’re proposing this agenda change. Sign your name in support!

Genevieve R. argues “political independence” is a liberal frame that idolizes individualism. But for socialists, there is no virtue in being alone.

Instead, we should aspire toward the collective ownership and power we need to actually win. www.socialistmajority.com/theagitator/...
No One Is “Politically Independent”
This individualist buzzphrase has a stranglehold on left-wing politics. It makes no sense and distracts us from our real goals: ownership and power.

“We don’t need a vacancy study to tell us that this is a real and urgent crisis, [...] I have clients whose children have never known a home other than the four walls of a motel room.”

You shouldn’t have to be rich to live in the Hudson Valley.

Last night, Kingston residents called on the Common Council to support our campaign to build tens of thousands of permanently affordable, sustainable, union-built homes across the state!

Our Housing Working Group had our annual retreat yesterday, and the vibes were top-notch! We’re feeling proud of the work we’ve done and energized by our plans to protect and expand tenants' rights, organize tenants, and build green social housing across the Hudson Valley! ✊🏡

🏡We’re fighting for a Hudson Valley where every tenant is protected from unfair rent hikes and evictions.🏡

Zellnor Myrie's platform offers nothing for tenants struggling to stay in their homes right now. Even worse, it undermines rent stabilization, giving landlords more ways to raise rents and push families out.

70% of New Yorkers rent — if you want our votes, freeze the rent.
It’s official: I’m running for Mayor of New York City — because we need to Rebuild NYC.

Rebuild NYC is a mandate for one million homes — because either we bring down the cost of housing, or we continue to lose New Yorkers. And I don’t know about you, but I’m not leaving.

Rents are getting raised, neighbors are getting displaced, but the folks of Fishkill are fighting back.

After yesterday's canvass, one thing is clear: tenants in Fishkill want Good Cause Eviction protections!
