*Social* grounded-ness. Yes, I did watch it, no I shouldn't be posting at 3am.

More to the point, as a weird 90's work, it benefits from survivorship bias based on it's grounded-ness compared to other works from the same period that had bupkis in terms of prognostication. No one looks at Lawnmower Man and goes, "yeah, that movie called all this."

I keep forgetting how the show goes in... *a lot* directions compared to the films.

Do it. Don't make me use my Sheev Palpatine voice.

What kinda clown shoes design thinking is this?

Alright, I'd pay to watch a Zeta redub where H.John Benjamin is Quattro. Probably more than what I'd pay to see a dub where Kamile is voiced by Patrick Warburton.

Despite it's (biting) subtlety, still hits with the intensity of a folding chair to the dome.
US voice cast features a few NGE vets, just to drive that into the mat.

Diary of Our Days at the Breakwater but with giant robots...

Aright, my interest is piqued.

Man that sucks to hear.

I will never not be floored by how insane this series is.

Back in my day, we had eight foot beds that could haul standard sized sheet rock, dry wall, plywood, 2x4's, and some brands of econobox.
Now all our trucks are roided out Baja's the size of a space shuttle that can't haul what a Baja actually could. Shameful.

I minored in philosophy in college. Don't be sorry. Do make this everyone else's problem. It's kinda the point.

The instant that John Williams score kicks up and things go south for Luke *right quick* is easily the most chilling moment in the whole franchise. Built him up for that moment for so long in ESB, Vader's attack counts as a horror movie in it's own right. Then, the reveal/offer to Luke. Holy Sith!
