Probably not a cat, but some days, the lifestyle seems enviable!

I have this happen frequently. The key is to call out the attacker's name. Here's what I say, "Tod the cat! Let me sleep. It's too early for treats."

It usually does not work, and it is easier to provide treats. I guess rich people like Tucker never have to feed their own cats?

- One-time Canada Disability Benefit $150 payment to folks getting or renewing the DTC starting in 2026. Possibly more beyond this budget timeline.
- Government will move to exempt CDB under the Income Tax Act (ie. AFNI).

I do agree the analogy with Nazi Germany is appropriate. I hope that the US public has a reckoning in the future with their individual culpability during this time.

Not reasonable to focus on that distant future right now. We are under economic attack from our neighbours and they say they want to redraw borders.

All while they are threatening tariffs intended to break Canada economically and plunder our resources.

I guess it has not sunk in for her yet that if her far-right friends get their way, Canada becomes a state. Our prime minister becomes a governor...and she is demoted to a mayor!

Not to be too pointed, but what are the American people doing about it?

As a Canadian, I no longer see the US as an ally. I don't think that will change post-Trump. How can we ever trust the US again, knowing the American people may embrace fascism again?

Some wine is meant to stay in the bottle and never leave. We found this out years ago when buying a different wine that also followed the other rule "When they tell you what they are..."
