I accidentally developed a roll of Ektar(color)120 film in PMK, I realized my mistake as soon as I saw the color of the film...a deep BROWN! There was enough of the negative visible so here is what C41 looks like developed in PMK....:-) Kinda weird grain structure but that might be the scanner.....

'How to'.....
I used a door hinge centering sleeve with a 'left hand' drill bit at the end of a 12" extension. Set drill to 'rewind' and the bit will 'bite' into the remains of the bolt and then spin it out. The hinge centering tool prevents the threads from being damaged. Easy :-)

While replacing the valve cover gasket I found a sheared bolt in the block, this is somewhat common in the E90 engine as the block is magnesium/aluminum alloy and the bolts are made of aluminum. Torqued to just 6nm it takes next to nothing to seat them.

BMW E90 valve cover gasket change, one of the more complicated jobs on this car...easier than the water pump and thermostat though!! :-)

The Old/New BMW 330Ci restoration has begun in earnest, today the front seat for the passenger was in the process of being restored and the carpet was given its first cleaning. :-0 This is the 'before and after' the first vacuum and shampoo, it looks like at least one or two more will be needed.
