ALL of the violence in this country emanates from the right. All of it. The ICE raids, the military invasions, the street-level violence and hatred we all experience almost daily comes from the extreme radical right, and ONLY from the right.

It is very important to note that there was only one arrest in the No Kings protest yesterday. A South Carolina woman in a Trump shirt who was threatening peaceful protestors with a gun. It's almost like far-right ideology and violence are indivisible.

I see people posting honors for Jane Goodall who choose to live their lives in opposition to her lifelong message of animal sentience and their inherent right to life. If you truly want to honor her memory, the best way to do so is to choose to live your without exploiting or harming animals.

I'm rereading an essay Frankie Boyle wrote before the last election and came across the line "Trump is pushing for the end of foreign wars, but probably just because he knows he'll have to free up all those troops to inevitably turn on his own citizens."

I was thinking about how people say "You shouldn't meet your favorite creators as they are not the persona they present publically" but I've worked briefly with Erin Kellyman, Terry Prachett, David Oyelowo, Guy Gavriel Kay, Dominc West, and Douglas Adams and they were all wonderful people.
