Horrific how legacy media talks of a ‘war crime’ when there is no war. ‘Murder’ is murder even when it’s state sponsored.

Well everyone should use the means that suits them. I like to think that most grown up families can decide for themselves how they keep in contact without others either telling them a better way, or saying how they do is ‘unhealthy’.

Our daughter at university used to have to walk home a particularly dark route sometimes late at night. In that instance it was just another way of knowing she’d got home safely. Even a static trace may have been useful under those and other circumstances.

If we’re talking about parents forcing their over 18 kids to be tracked that’s a different matter. That doesn’t appear to be the conversation here though.

I’m quite happy for my family to know where I am. If university aged children are happy for their parents to track them I really don’t see the problem. As long as they’re free to turn it off when they want, it’s an extra layer of protection.

Why?
